1. We are compensated through affiliate marketing

PortCasinoReview is an affiliate site. We hold commercial agreements with online gambling operators licensed by the SRIJ. When you click a link to an operator and open an account, we may receive a commission from that operator.

This compensation costs you nothing extra. The terms, promotions and conditions you receive are exactly the same as if you had gone directly to the operator’s site.

2. How to identify an affiliate link

Affiliate links on this site include the “Visit site” and “Visit {brand}” buttons, as well as links from operator logos on cards and in reviews.

All such links are technically marked with the rel="sponsored nofollow" attributes and visually labelled “Sponsored link”.

3. What compensation does not affect

Our editorial policy is clear: no operator can buy a score, a ranking position, the removal of a negative point, or the publication of content that does not reflect our assessment.

• Scores come from a fixed scorecard of 28 criteria applied identically to every operator;
• Weaknesses are published in full, including for commercial partners;
• Listing order follows the editorial score, not the commission rate;
• An operator that loses its SRIJ licence is removed from the site, regardless of any agreement in place;
• No operator has the right to review, approve or veto content before publication.

4. Non-commercial links

Links to the SRIJ, to the register of licensed entities, to the self-exclusion register and to player support organisations — such as SICAD, GamCare, BeGambleAware and Gambling Therapy — are not affiliate links. We receive no compensation for them and have no commercial relationship with those bodies.

5. Nature of the content

The content on this site is informational. It does not constitute legal, tax, financial or investment advice, and should not be read as encouragement to gamble.

Gambling carries a risk of financial loss. No content on this site suggests that gambling is a way to earn income, to resolve financial difficulty, or that winnings are likely or guaranteed.

6. Accuracy and corrections

We verify licence numbers against the SRIJ public register and revisit each review at least quarterly. Even so, promotions and terms can change without notice.

7. Intended audience

This site is intended solely for adults aged 18 and over residing in Portugal. We do not target content or communications at minors, at self-excluded individuals, or at residents of jurisdictions where online gambling is not legal.
